Baked apple with vanilla cream and toasted coconut and oat cover
2 dl sugar
2 dl water
0.5 dl Coconut chips Original Flavor
0.5 dl oat flakes
3 tablespoons "suger syrup"
Vanilla cream or whipped cream
How to do it:
Blend the sugar, water and a few drops of lemon juice to make the "sugar syrup".
Boil and simmer for a few minutes and then cool down completely.
Remove the middle part of the apple and put in a bag together with the cold "sugar syrup", let it marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
Put the oven at 175 degrees Celsius and bake the apple for about 25 minutes, depending on how big the apple is. Mix the coconut chips with the oats and suger syrup and roast a few minutes in the oven. After that let everything cool down completely.
Fill the cold apple with vanilla cream or whipped cream and sprinkle over generously with the roasted coconut and oat mix.
